The Health Lottery scheme manages 51 Society Lotteries that operate in rotation and each represents a different geographical region of Great Britain.

Tackling health inequalities

HealthComplete Community Interest Company (CIC) exists to tackle health inequalities across Lincolnshire. It raises money to help reduce health inequalities in the area. It does this by running a society lottery and working collaboratively with independent charity, People's Health Trust to develop local interventions.

We donate the good causes funds we raise to People's Health Trust, who invests these in communities wishing to make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

This grant making trust funds local people who have great ideas about how they can make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

Working with HealthComplete, People's Health Trust has made grants to local groups totalling £1,387,828.

SPOTS

SPOTS were awarded £29,200 to continue delivering a weekly social club for isolated older people in a rural neighbourhood in Spalding, to develop new and existing friendships. The club provides lunch and an array of activities including arts and crafts, fitness classes, flower arranging and trips to attractions. There is also opportunity for residents to volunteer at other local venues.
